What is Electrostatic Disinfecting and How Does it Work?
Electrostatic disinfecting is the process of spraying an electrostatically charged mist onto surfaces and objects. After the spray is applied, the disinfectant goes to work on the entirety of all surfaces. It only takes 1 to 10 minutes depending on the disinfectant used; killing 99.99% of all pathogens. Its effective and touchless application means zero cross-contamination. Electrostatic spray disinfecting works by using a specialized solution that is combined with air and atomized by an electrode inside the sprayer. Subsequently, the spray contains charged particles that are able to aggressively adhere to all surfaces and objects. Because the particles in the spray are charged, they cling to and completely coat all surfaces they’re aimed at.
